As part of the GM Live Well Festival run by Greater Manchester Combined Authority, the Children’s Community Spring Marketplace brought people together in a vibrant celebration of connection, collaboration and community support.
With 17 local partners, 14 community volunteers and more than 400 families attending, the event showcased the strength of partnership working across Greater Manchester.
Together, the marketplace helped distribute 2 tonnes of free fresh food— including an incredible 4,200 carrots rehomed—highlighting how community-led action can support families, reduce food waste and build stronger, healthier neighbourhoods.
