The Children’s Community Summer Together 2026 will see The Children’s Community Tameside working alongside a wide range of valued partners including Cedar Park and Hurst Community Group, Ashton United in the Community, PAC CIC, FareShare and many more to deliver five weeks of free summer activities for children and young people aged 0–19 at Cedar Park.
Taking a pause from the annual Hurst Fest this year to reflect, recharge and return even stronger next year, the Children’s Community is leading a collaborative new approach that spreads fun, inclusive activities across the summer holidays so more families can access support, and no one misses out.
Through strong partnership working and a shared commitment to local families, the programme will offer exciting events such as a summer beach party, petting zoo, multi-sports, outdoor cinema and face painting, creating memorable experiences for children and families across Tameside.
