As we celebrated Volunteers’ Week, we wanted to recognise the time, care and dedication our Children’s Community – Tameside volunteers give to our community.
Earlier this year, Save the Children UK invited nominations from The Children’s Community – Tameside for its national volunteer awards, and we were delighted that several of our volunteers were recognised for their outstanding contributions.
Congratulations to our award winners:
As part of Volunteers’ Week, each winner received a certificate, a gold Save the Children UK pin and a congratulatory letter from the Head of Volunteering.
We’re especially proud that many of our volunteers also give their time to support other local organisations across Smallshaw and Hurst, including Cedar Park Pantry and Ashton United in the Community, making an even greater difference across our neighbourhood.
Congratulations to all of our award winners, and thank you to every volunteer for everything you do. We couldn’t do it without you!
