Celebrating a National Campaign Win!

Celebrating a National Campaign Win

We’re delighted to share that the campaign to scrap the two-child limit has been recognised as Campaign of the Year at the Sheila McKechnie Foundation’s National Campaigner Awards.

We’d like to give a special congratulations to our Parent Champion and volunteer, Jamie-Leigh, from Smallshaw-Hurst Children’s Community and Save the Children UK, who played an important role in the campaign. Jamie-Leigh worked alongside campaigners to help raise awareness of the impact the policy has on families and attended the awards ceremony to celebrate this incredible achievement.

This national recognition reflects the power of parents sharing their lived experiences to create change. We’re incredibly proud of Jamie-Leigh and grateful for her commitment, courage and passion in helping to speak up for children and families.
