At the Community Engagement Practitioners Network event, attendees heard from Smallshaw-Hurst Children’s Community alongside inspiring organisations including FareShare, SEVA Group and Jigsaw Homes Group, showcasing the incredible work taking place across Tameside to support local people and strengthen communities.
Smallshaw-Hurst Children’s Community shared its place-based, community-led approach to improving outcomes for children, young people and families — demonstrating how trusted relationships, local partnerships and safe spaces are creating lasting change. Together, the event highlighted the power of collaboration across sectors, celebrating the shared commitment of organisations across Tameside to tackle inequality, support families and build stronger, healthier communities.
